J.D. Lasica points us to an article where the Times suggests maybe it should launch “New York Times Online Raw,” which would be a pre-edited edition of news … what they know when they know it. Lasica points out that he’s been suggesting for years that news sites say “This is what we know,” and “this is what we don’t know.” I’ve been advocating, “We’ll tell you what we know when we know it.”
It seems to me, a blog is a perfect way to do it. Crowdsource it and let the readers be your editors.
